SHJG Site Services was established in 2016 as a local business in Newcastle and Hunter Valley Region NSW. Sam quickly saw the need for their clients to have a more personalised experience.

Due to this SHJG started its mobile on-site services and have since completed more than 100 successful projects in the short period they have operated independently.

Sam has over 8 years of experience in the protective coatings industry. He has a passion for business, innovation and building leadership skills for all working individuals and has been a part of 3 start-ups of business within Australia.

In this time SHJG has also expanded to various projects across the whole of Australia, including Darwin, Perth, Brisbane and the ACT.

Ian Nathan has joined the SHJG team as its Business Development Manager. He has a wealth of business management experience within the construction and industrial service industries.


He was the Safety & Quality Manager for a crane company, a General Manager for a HIgh-Risk Work License training company, he has owned his own Safety Consultancy business as well as an online marketing business where he built websites and did social media advertising. He says he's a jack of all trades and master of none but we believe Ian adds a fairly hefty string to the SHJG bow.

Our number one core value is safety. We are uncompromising in our commitment to the health and safety of our employees, clients and the community in which we operate. We continually improve our processes, demonstrate leadership and require individual accountability. All employees are to follow our 5 Platinum Safety Rules.

  1. IDENTIFY and ASSESS ALL hazards and risks in any work area or project and eliminate, nullify and engineer out all unpredictability and associated danger. Once assessed we use or wear the appropriate and necessary PPE.

  2. We adhere to a DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE work site.

  3. We continually COMMUNICATE  with each other to assess and re-assess a sites condition to keep everyone SAFE.

  4. We remain ALERT and promote NON-COMPLACENCY so as NOT to walk behind or in the path of a moving or reversing vehicle or under a suspended load of any kind.

  5. CHECK & ISOLATE - we check all equipment using pre-start equipment checklists before using or energising any onsite equipment. We inform all members of our onsite team and site management if we identify any potential hazards with equipment and will not proceed until those hazards are either eliminated or appropriately managed.


Our people are our greatest asset. Their contribution to the supervision and management of the services we provided is both valued and integral to the businesses quality and continual improvement processes.
